Join us and celebrate life well lived!

Dream a little dream with me!

Every summer for the last sixteen years a truly life changing event has taken place that celebrates "life well lived"  by providing people of color the opportunity to exhibit their adventurous spirit by island-hopping on their own private yacht and sailing the British Virgin Islands.

The event itself is the brainchild of Cap'n Paul Mixon, a sailing enthusiast who took his love of the water to the next level with this event, The BVI Voyage {formally the Black Boaters Summit}

The Black Boaters Summit "BBS" an amazing opportunity to enjoy one of the premier sailings destinations in the world while allowing a good dose of the history of the Caribbean islands. The British Virgin Islands "BVI" feature the most relaxing sails to several of the approximately 50 islands that make up this West Indian island-nation. Located 60 miles east of Puerto Rico, each Island offers its own unique character and culture which makes this luxurious mode of island-hopping a true adventure.

“Sailing in the BVI is one of the most refreshing and rehabilitating activities that you can do,” says Captain Paul. “And I know that a lot of folks are afraid of the water or being seasick, but we have been doing this for sixteen years and we have never had an accident or issue.”  There is no word in the English language for the bliss to be had soaking in the breeze with a cold drink in your hands as the sun sets among the islands.

“Every day spent sailing is a day added onto your life.”

Hallelujah
